On the corner of the old Stratford Road and Watery Lane
I wonder what the significance of the name 'Watery Lane' is... Flooding? Or just near water?

Footpath towards new roundabout
When the new A46 junction was built, this path was created to allow pedestrians and cyclists / horse riders etc. to pass underneath as a continuation of the old Watery Lane. Hence, it's not marked on OS maps as a 'footpath' or 'bridleway' as it was previously a highway. It is signed on the ground as a bridleway, however.

From green to brown
Work underway on building the Junction 15 (Longbridge Roundabout) bypass of the M40 motorway. Acres of prime farmland are disappearing under concrete to provide the bypass, which will enable the busy A46 to avoid the Junction 15 roundabout of the M40. Completion is due in 2010.
