Mid-Warwickshire transport corridor
South of Turner's Green (on the Grand Union Canal) the Snow Hill line and the M40 run straight and parallel. The trains always seem to speed up on this stretch. Here an afternoon Chiltern Railways service from Birmingham to London Marylebone passes under the Finwood Road bridge, next stop Hatton.

Finwood Road swings over M40
The Finwood Road crossing of the M40 is a mildly spectacular diversion of the old lane between Lowsonford, Finwood and Turner's Green. The M40 extension from Oxford to the M42 south of Birmingham was completed in 1991.

These grey boxes are all along the Snow Hill line; this one is seen from the Finwood Road bridge over both the railway and the M40 near Turner's Green. The Heart of England Way runs behind the security fence.
