South of Turner's Green (on the Grand Union Canal) the Snow Hill line and the M40 run straight and parallel. The trains always seem to speed up on this stretch. Here an afternoon Chiltern Railways service from Birmingham to London Marylebone passes under the Finwood Road bridge, next stop Hatton.
