It gives rear access to businesses on the north side of Coten End.

One of three parallel streets of mostly two-storey brick terraced houses. An ingenious one-way system spares them from much commuter parking: Warwick station is only a short walk away. There is access from Coten End, behind the camera, to premises behind the street through the gap, right, where a former works is in a derelict state.

A mainly residential street, its south end is home to a car servicing business, always busy, and an electrical contractor.

These red brick terraced houses are on the northern side of Coten End which is part of the A445 to Leamington Spa. In the background can be seen the church tower of St Mary's Warwick.

In the late 1980's this was a Spar mini-supermarket. It changed hands and became VJ stores. Latterly it was run by an Indian family as Coten End Food Store. Since a Sainsbury's Local opened over the road Image (on a prime site near a primary school) this shop has closed, along with a greengrocer a few doors along..

Last photographed 15 months ago in July 2012 http://www.geograph.org.uk/p/3340157 this is the first sign of interest in the former convenience store.

It was lifted only on to the footway, then carried inside. At the time of submission, February 2015, the shop is still closed although the upstairs is occupied. Last photographed 2 April 2014 Image
