Boundary marker, Brandon Road
The city boundary as extended to in 1932. The right side of the marker reads 'City of Coventry' and the left side 'County of Warwick Parish of Binley'. The post is emblazoned with the pre-WWII Coventry coat of arms. In the background, a well known DIY store.

Coventry City Boundary Marker on Brandon Road, Binley
The plastic barrier rail has been propped up against the boundary marker for so long that ivy has grown around it.
This is one of a number of cast iron markers erected in 1928 and 1932 to mark the boundaries of Coventry City. A number are on Geograph.
