Footpath and cycleway by A4082 Allard Way, Stoke, Coventry
Allard Way is a busy main suburban road in the Sowe valley. The impressive single-span bridge carries the main line railway east of the city. The viewpoint is near the turn for the Alan Higgs Centre, one of three big sports and leisure centres in Coventry.

The Alan Higgs Centre is a sports and fitness centre with extensive indoor and outdoor facilities. It is one of three centres operated by the Coventry Sports Foundation, a charitable trust http://www.covsf.com
The young trees in the centre background belong to the landscaping around the centre and Allard Way. One big oak speaks of an older landscape.
