Looking across the canal to the Image . The embankment in between is the formation of the former Leamington Spa - Rugby line. The trees that have grown up on the embankment over the years have just been cut down, hence the stacks of logs, thus opening up this view.

Radford Semele Church
The church was almost completely destroyed by arson. It was discovered to be on fire on 16 March 2008 and all that remains is the tower and shell of the building.Evidence for arson came in the form of a memorial stone which was found inside below one of the windows the day after the fire. The stone had not been there 24h previously and was probably used to force entry. There had also been arson attempts on two other churches nearby in previous weeks. £2 million pounds was paid in insurance money but this is still not enough to fully restore the church.
The building renovation work started in earnest this month, four years after the fire.

Radford Semele: the rebuilt St Nicholas's Church
The parish church lost its roof in a fire in 2008 and has been substantially rebuilt since. The congregation now face north to an altar repositioned in the north aisle, which is lit by large windows in the new gables.

Radford Semele: St Nicholas
"In the nave one Norman window. Perp ashlar-faced W tower. The rest of 1889," wrote Nikolaus Pevsner in 1966. Since then, the church has been burned out (in 2008) and subsequently rebuilt - see Image], which shows the altered north side.
