At one time these council-built flats had a reputation, but they have been refurbished and gated.

Houses on the Sydenham Estate
Until the late 20th C most of this square was occupied by Sydenham Farm and its fields. A large number of the houses do not have direct car access but have a garage a short distance away.

The south side of Fallow Hill flats, Sydenham
The main part of the Sydenham estate was planned as a series of closes whose fronts are pedestrian only and face each other across open space. The rear sides of the closes share a parking court. This one is between Crabtree Close and Joan's Close.

Snack van, Ramsey Road CV31
There is space for the van, called The Nosh Box, on a vacant parking area by an empty factory. There are several empty premises here on the St Mary's Road industrial estate but still enough occupied to support a snack van. The building left of centre (in the next square) is the HQ and furniture shop of the local Action 21 group.
