Stoke Golding: Station Road hosiery factory
The old Ordnance Survey map of 1888 shows a hosiery factory on this site, although the current building is distinctly Edwardian in design and much larger than its Victorian counterpart.

Fields and Stoke Golding, Leicestershire
Seen with telephoto assistance from the Ashby canal, the recent housing seems to lead up to the 14th century spire of The Church of St Margaret of Antioch. The church is an outstanding piece of architecture.
