Greyfriars Green and Warwick Row
The buildings on the left face Warwick Row. Greyfriars Road, in the foreground, was cut across Greyfriars Green in the late 1960s/early 1970s and at the time a subway was provided for pedestrians which stood in line with the photographer's position and the trees. Recently it has been recognised that subways are not popular and some have been replaced, in this case with a zebra crossing. The subway in 2010: http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1800500
