Release the Seal
Part of a painted nature mural, seen on the exterior wall of a private residential property.
One of a number of exterior wall on-street murals in the area, part of an arts trail exhibition.
The exterior wall brickwork is visible, as are the textures of the materials worn, the seals fur.

Unused platform at Margate station
At the west end of Margate station, this small fenced off yard that once gave access to a bay platform (whose canopy is visible in the centre of the picture) appears to have been unused for quite some time. The platform looks like it would have been used as a parcels bay, but I don't actually know what its purpose was.

Victoria - Ramsgate express entering Margate
View westward, towards Faversham, Chatham and London: ex-SE&CR (LC&D) London - Kent Coast main line. On Summer Saturdays the operators had to use the older 4-4-0s on many of the numerous Kent Coast trains: here the 11.46 Victoria - Ramsgate has SE&C Maunsell D1 rebuild No. 31145 (built 4/1903 as a Wainwright D, rebuilt 11/22).
