Seen from Eaton Road, but accessed from Image, I have been observing the gradual changes to Image for two years. Now work on this block of flats has been completed, residents are moving in.

Weymouth House & Stratford House, Eaton Road
A notice-board, on the right hand side of this view, provided the information as to what names the block of flats will adopt once building work has been completely finished. Weymouth House has a selection of 42, 1 and 2 bed apartments available on the open market to rent through Rightmove http://www.rightmove.co.uk and Stratford House has 36, 1 or 2 bed apartments to rent to Kent Home Choice applicants via Thanet District Council. Looking WNW across Eaton Road
The square, white building, standing on the corner of Eaton Place, is a portable office, which was erected by Trading Spaces http://www.tradingspaces.co.uk/ In the distance is the block of flats known as Arlington House, partly obscured by a Ferris-wheel, located on the Dreamland site.

This is the name of a cul-de-sac that has been constructed, off Eaton Road, to serve a new development of two blocks of flats known as Weymouth House and Stratford House (which is situated beyond Weymouth House).

Subtle changes in Eaton Road
Very little has changed since my previous visit to this location along Image The tall building's render has been finished but the flats (clad in scaffolding) look the same, so one can only assume that there has been a financial crisis as far as they are concerned.

Hook a Duck, Dreamland, Margate
The scenic railway on the right is still not in working order. Arlington House, an 18 storey brutalist tower block built in 1964, is behind the stall.
The future of Dreamland is undecided and, despite being half term holiday for schools, there were very few customers.
