Footpath to Owl's Hatch Road
This path leads from Thornden Wood Road to a disused road. Owl's Hatch Road has been re-routed due to the construction of the A299 Dual Carriageway.

Herne Drive and The Grove road junction
The Grove leads straight on towards Bullockstone Road. Herne Drive heads left towards Greenhill Road. A lot of junctions in Herne Bay have these type of planted islands. Also seen are two pollarded poplar trees
