This is the former nursing home as viewed from Belle View Road showing many of the boarded up doors that once led into the rear extension.

Seafront shelter at Herne Bay
This attractive and well-kept shelter can be seen below Beacon Hill on the eastern approach to Herne Bay. To the right of it out to sea is the end of Herne Bay Pier which was the second longest in the country before the centre section was destroyed.

The rear of The King's Hall, Herne Bay
Viewed from the footpath on Beacon Hill. It is a theatre, concert hall and dance hall, built as The Pavilion in 1903–1904, developed as the King Edward VII Memorial Hall in 1913 in memory of the late king and was being called The King's Hall by 1912 while still at planning stage.
