As I have been a customer of this garage, owned by Caffyns, since 2000, I was sent a letter recently to tell me that this site would be closing for business on 21 March 2012.

On the right is Ingles Court, whose main entrance is at number 2. McCarthy and Stone Retirement Lifestyles Ltd http://www.mccarthyandstone.co.uk/retirement-properties-for-sale/folkestone-kent/
whose name appears on the green fence surrounding the building. Planning permission has been approved, with conditions, by Folkestone and Hythe District Council under application number Y12/1014/SH for the “erection of 25 later living apartments, communal facilities and car parking following the demolition of existing buildings”. The existing buildings are a former residential care home.
