Located at Palting House off Trinity Road CT20 2TS, this DTC carries out practical driving tests for cars, motorcycle module 2 (on-road), ADI part 2 and ADI part 3. ADI stands for Approved Driving Instructor and parts 2 and 3 are the practical tests one has to pass to become a driving instructor. The entrance to the DTC can just be seen to the left of the blue litter bin.

This notice by the Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency, is just inside the entrance to the driving test centre in Palting house off Trinity Road. It has the following wording: Use of the Test Centre Car Park Please remember that candidates should not be arriving in the car park until 5 minutes before their test time. Arriving before this time could have an impact on the test finishing beforehand. At the end of your candidate's test, please be mindful of the time, and if you are taking pictures for social media please make sure this won't have an impact on the next test. Pictures can be taken off site. UNLESS YOU ARE HERE FOR TEST, YOU ARE NOT PERMITTED IN THE TEST CENTRE CAR PARK. Thank you for your ongoing co-operation in this matter.
