Folkestone Harbour Branch
Battle of Britain class 34067 Tangmere lifts the Golden Arrow Excursion up the 1 in 30 incline of the Folkestone Harbour Branch line towards Folkestone East.

Train on Folkestone Harbour Branch
One of the several 'last trains' on the Harbour Branch, this one descending the incline with Battle of Britain class 34067 'Tangmere' trailing and headed by class 67 diesel 67 006 'Royal Sovereign'. Most of the branch, including the part seen here, is on a gradient of 1 in 30, severe by railway standards.

Erection of a workshop building
Planning permission has been approved, with conditions, by Folkestone and Hythe District Council under application number Y12/0061/SH for the “erection of a workshop building for the maintenance of motor vehicles together with the construction of a jet wash facility (alternative scheme to that approved under planning permission Y11/0198/SH)”. The site is described as land rear of Tram Road filling station.
