Magpie Cottage, number 87 Beach Street, was built in the early 19th century. Constructed of brown brick with the ground floor stuccoed, all under a slate roof. Some original internal panelling remains. Planning permission has been granted by Dover District Council under application number DOV/15/00632 for the “erection of a replacement dormer window to front and new dormer window to rear, installation of skylights and parapet wall, replacement Kent peg tiles, window and door to front elevation with associated internal and external alterations”.
