Redevelopment of the former Hammill Brick Works
Compared with this earlier view of Image, the houses appear to have been completed externally. However there is a large heap of gravel in the grounds of Selson House, which is the name the large house has been given. Planning permission was granted by Dover District Council under application number DOV/12/00450, for “(A) Full application for change of use and conversion of two engine sheds to six live/work units and (B) Outline application for the erection of nineteen dwellings of B1(c) accommodation, construction of vehicular access, associated car parking and landscaping (existing buildings/structures to be demolished)”. The development of the site, which has been named Hammill Park, is being managed by Quinn Estates http://quinn-estates.com/future-developments#current-projects/hammill-brickworks

Fuel entry, former Hammill brickworks
Evidently the kilns were gas fired, at least latterly, with LPG delivered by road. The gate has a 'LPG Highly inflammable' sign. The saddles for a large storage vessel are to the right of the road, but the vessel has been removed.

Looking ENE along an unnamed road
Compared with this earlier view of Image, another house has been constructed beyond the nearest but the piles of soil seem to indicate that ground work is ongoing. Compared with this earlier view of Image but taken further away from the house with a grey roof, now another house is under construction next door to it.
