It was originally known as the Crown Hotel before becoming Jack’s Bar http://www.dover-kent.com/Pubs/Jacksons-Wharf-Ramsgate.html Rather usefully it had a plaque with the date 1853 affixed its frontage.

The Crown, 30, York Street
Planning permission was granted by Thanet District Council under application number A/TH/17/0356 for the “erection and display of 1 externally illuminated fascia sign, 2 non-illuminated fascia signs, 1 externally non-illuminated projecting hanging sign and 2 aluminium plaque signs”. The public house was formerly called Image but has now reverted to its original name.

Ramsgate rooftops
Seen from Prospect Terrace on West Cliff. The unusual tower belongs to Granville House https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2142582 , opened as a hotel in 1869 and how converted to apartments. Designed by Edward Welby Pugin, the project bankrupted him. Listed Grade II.
