Lime tree, Windermere Road, Coulsdon
Almost all of the trees on Windermere Road are horse chestnuts, but at the northern end are two limes and one plane. In autumn the limes show their leaves in this cheerful yellow colour, making a glorious show as here in mid-November. One week later, every leaf had gone from this tree.
