Mitcham Tramlink stop - Wimbledon platform
Taken from the Mitcham Walk entrance. Tramlink follows the course of the former railway between Wimbledon and West Croydon closed in 1997. The former Mitcham railway station lay farther to the west in the top right-hand part of the picture.

Looking west. Car No 2547 calls on its eastbound journey to New Addington, via Croydon.
Predicted by some Jeremiahs to be a waste of money, the Wimbledon trams are in fact very busy indeed, so much so that extra cars are being ordered.
