Caterham: Waller Lane
Looking down from the top. Caterham is a village of two quite separate halves, with only two roads directly connecting Caterham-on-the-Hill to Caterham Valley. The preferred road connection is via Church Hill and Church Road - part of the B2030, the only alternative is the narrow Waller Lane, an 'access-only' lane, where the weekly visit of the dust-cart causes complete paralysis.
