The London Loop crosses Peacock Gardens, Forestdale
The long distance path (and Vanguard Way - another long distance path) lead from Addington Road, across Peacock Gardens (road) and then through the suburbs of Forestdale via a path towards Selsdon Wood.

London Loop at Peacock Gardens
Looking at the map you might well think this bit of the Loop would be a trudge past a lot of housing, but actually the path has remained surprisingly isolated. It is a tree lined track, for the most part fenced off from the neighbouring roads, and accessed only at a couple of crossings like this one.
