Two long distance footpaths are here
This rather inconsequential footpath to the north of Addington Road and leading up to Littleheath Woods is followed by both the London LOOP and the Vanguard Way. The former is a 152 mile circle around London, largely through the Green Belt, while the latter is a 66 mile route from East Croydon to Newhaven.

Littleheath Woods
A mobile telephone mast, disguised as a pine tree. Located beside the water tower, this mast blends in well during the summer months.

Home Sweet Home
Probably the home to a woodpecker, but I have never seen a hole so close to the ground (little above head height). This is a fresh hole and was not visible when I previously passed the location.
