Downsway, Sanderstead
Taken near the junction with Briton Crescent, this shows the dip down to Purley Oaks Road. The area is a series of ridges and valleys which extends out from Croydon into the surrounding Green Belt.

One of the Purley Beeches
In a corner of Purley Beeches public wood and open space, which has a good deal more other trees than beeches. Some of the beeches have been felled, no doubt for safety reasons, but there are also some young planted beeches to take their place.
