The council seems a little obsessed with informing you this is a red route. As well as the sign in the foreground, the next two signs are identical.

Alien-looking trees
Every tree in the road has had the entire crown removed, presumably as they were all getting too big. I hadn't been down here for some time but remembered it as a very dark road.
