Council issued no through road signs are on a single line and upper case, but the font is the choice of the council unlike nationally issued signs. This is the standard pre-Worboys font pre-1963 while the font above is the 1953-63 final version. The two roads adjacent to this have quite different no through road designs issued more recently.
