The Former Oakfield Tavern, Croydon
Formerly a public house, which had closed by 2009; the building has been refurbished, with a small rear extension. The uniform appearance suggests that the current use is for office space.

West Croydon Baptist Church, Whitehorse Road
By J.T. Barker in 1873, late for such a classical design. Red brick with stone dressings. The entrance has a Doric quadrant-colonnade and a quarter-dome above. The side has an elegant run of round-headed windows set in arched recesses divided by brick pilasters. It now stands in a traffic island. Grade II listed.

The Oakfield Tavern, Croydon
Now sadly closed, this public house is situated at Spurgeon's Bridge. Hopefully, it will not suffer the same fate as The Bridge Hotel, which used to stand to the left of picture.
