Speakers Court, St James' Road
The former church of St James, Croydon Common. Built 1829, Grade II* listed, sold in 1989 to Croydon Churches Housing Association for conversion to sheltered housing.

St.James' Church
Built in 1828, this former Church has been converted into flats. In 1966, the Churchyard was re-modelled as an open space, with the gravestones lifted and laid to one side of the Church.

St James, St James Road
Now redundant and converted into flats. A Commissioners' church of 1827-29, by Robert Wallace, built of yellow brick. Grade II* listed. The Church Building Commission was established in 1824 to oversee the building of more Anglican churches in urban areas which had experienced large increases in population due to the Industrial Revolution.
