Looking in the direction of the Royal Standard, the pub sign of which can be seen in the centre of picture. Croydon flyover is directly above the photographer; a slip road curves off to the left, and enters a car park. This car park, like others in Croydon, has been used for filming of "The Bill".

Seen from the service road, linking the car park to the slip road, beside Croydon flyover. The 'Bull's Head' is still sporting the red and blue colours of Crystal Palace, the result of a lost bet by the landlord.
