New houses on Castle Hill Avenue
These houses on Castle Hill Avenue in New Addington had just been built by Croydon Council, but look very different from "traditional" council housing. The sign board showed that Playle and Partners were the architects. Some had already been occupied by summer 2011 although the project completion date was given as spring 2012.

Stream through abandoned pitch and putt course
Now left as a grassy park area, but with inconvenient fences across and around it, the old greens are now just curious level tables - there is one on the left. The stream hardly flows, even after a fairly wet period. Judging by its state, it probably mainly handles excess street run-off. The bridge carries King Henry's Drive.
