I still think of this as St Boltolph's Station. I clearly remember the Scammel Scarabs zipping around the goods yard which is now covered by the building on the left

Colchester Town station
Colchester's main railway station, on the main line between London, Ipswich and Norwich, is a short distance to the north of the town. Colchester Town station is at the end of a short branch line but is more convenient for the town centre.
The station was previously named St. Botolph's (a name which made no reference to Colchester), and was renamed to Colchester Town in 1991.

Colchester Town station
Formerly St. Botolph's. The crankshaft on display is a reference to Davey, Paxman, a big engineering firm in Colchester until fairly recent times. In recent years takeovers have changed its name from time to time and it has become MAN Diesel & Turbo UK Ltd, now, in Colchester, just overhauling engines.
