Frinton-on-Sea Telephone Exchange (2)
Situated in Old Parsonage Way CO13 9AN, this TE has numbering ranges (01255) 67xxxx, 85xxxx, the (01255) referring to the Clacton-on-Sea group of nine TEs. As Frinton-on-Sea is a quintessential seaside resort, the then General Post Office would have had to tread carefully when looking for a site to build this TE during the mid-1960s to replace the former Manual TEs in Frinton-on-Sea and Walton-on-the Naze nearby.
