Park Pavilion Social Club etc, Dovercourt
An interesting unlisted building, looking like a railway station, but it never was. Over the front door, which does not seem to be used by the social club, is engraved 'Essex & Suffolk R.G.A. Headquarters' and more modern notices by the door advise 'Community Transport' and 'H.D.C.A. Park Pavilion Office'. 'R.G.A.' seems to have been short for 'Royal Garrison Artillery', and so is unlikely to still apply. 'H.D.C.A.' must mean 'Harwich and District Community Association'.
