Looking west along the track-bed of the old Bishop's Stortford, Dunmow and Braintree line just east of the B147 with the road being carried over the bridge.
The old track-bed is now the "Flitch Way", for horse-riders, cyclists & walkers.

The Flitch Way east of Braintree Road bridge
Formerly the Bishop's Stortford - Witham line, but now abandoned west of Braintree. Much of this part is now a bridleway, also National Cycle Route 16.

Bridge over former railway north of Felsted
The Bishop's Stortford - Witham line was cut back to leave just the Braintree - Witham part. The rest is largely a foot and cycle way now, the Flitch Way. Braintree Road crosses.
