Mill End, near Great Dunmow
Mill End is a small hamlet in north Essex.
This image was taken on a late October afternoon. Leaves on the trees were turning golden brown and beginning to fall as the winter months approached.

A WEAVER OF GREAT DUNMOW
HE WAS BURNT AT THE STAKE
IN STRATFORD-LE-BOW ON
27 TH JUNE, 1556, AGED 36 YEARS
FOR ADHERENCE TO THE
PROTESTANT FAITH
He was one of eleven men and two women - the 'Stratford Martyrs' - who were apparently burned in the same fire.
