Old Wickford Road Roundabout
This roundabout is the junction of the B1012 Burnham Road, the B1418 Main Rd and the Old Wickford Road, on the north western edge of South Woodham Ferrers. The shot was taken from the Old Wickford Road looking north.

South Woodham Ferrers station, 2015: decorated exterior
View eastward, towards Burnham-on-Crouch and Southminster. Someone has painted a nice mural, probably during the recent (May 2007) renovation, when the name was changed from plain 'Woodham Ferrers'. (See Image and Image).

South Woodham Ferrers railway station, Essex
Opened in 1889 by the Great Eastern Railway on its line from Wickford to Southminster, this used to be the junction for Maldon. View east towards North Fambridge and Southminster.
The Southminster line curves gently to the right after the station whereas the Maldon line continued straight on. There used to be a much larger station building than the one there now, as well as a second platform to the right.
