Congregational church, Sawbridgeworth
The building looks rather grand for a non-conformist church. It may be an old church of England building.

Sawbridgeworth: footpath to Sayesbury Avenue
This little footpath, heading west from the main London Road, is signposted 'to the Catholic Church' on the signs that are only partially in shot. My attention, though, was drawn to the old-fashioned No Cycling sign which predates the modern-day signage (the bike in a red circle) which was introduced in the mid-1960s. On close examination, one can see that the lettering and the red circle are embossed.
