Weather-boarded cottage at Tillingham
At the north end of the village, in Brook Road - and known as The Manse. Tillingham is one of the larger villages at the eastern end of the Dengie peninsula, and a good number of weather-boarded dwellings survive here.

Weather-boarded house at Brick House Farm
Can this really be Brick House farmhouse? In any case, it's a much more substantial structure than many of the weather-boarded dwellings in this part of Essex.

Tillingham Fire Station
Tillingham fire station is found up a driveway between two houses, so not easy to spot. The station was built during or just after WWII.

Weather-boarded cottage at Tillingham
To my mind, it's cottages like this that give Tillingham its character - a character that's pretty much unique in south-east England. This little building stands by the bend in North Street, just west of the church.
