West side of the Parish Church of St Ethelwold, Shotton
Viewed across Shotton Lane. The Church in Wales church in the Diocese of St Asaph was built in 1898-1902 to the designs of Douglas and Minshull, architects of Chester. The patron was W.E.Gladstone who died (on May 19th 1898) before the church was completed.
