Church in Wales church in the Diocese of St Asaph, built in 1898-1902 to the designs of Douglas and Minshull, architects of Chester. The patron was W.E.Gladstone who died (on May 19th 1898) before the church was completed. The church was Grade II Listed in 1991 as a strongly designed late Victorian Gothic church.
