The Plough Inn
Dating from the 17th century, it is the oldest of the three main public houses in Moreton and was originally named the Plough Inn and the Druids Arms. In the early 1930's it became known simply as the Plough Inn.

Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Hoylake Road, Moreton, founded in 1923 and built at a cost of at a cost of 1,200 UK Pounds, money raised by public subscription. The original Church was pulled down in 1955 and replaced with the one which exists today.
