Birkenhead School campus
The school campus has the sports field at the centre. This view shows the cricket pavilion to the left, and to the right of it the original “big school” (as it is known to pupils) which dates back to 1871. To the right of that building is the school chapel which was opened in 1883.

Bushell Hall
Part of Birkenhead School, the hall is named in honour of Warin Foster Bushell who was headmaster from 1930-1946. There is a similarly named Image at Solihull School where Bushell was headmaster earlier in his career.

St Therese of Lisieux - stained glass window detail ...
... at the Holy Name of Jesus (Oxton, Birkenhead). This window was designed and made by the artist Margaret Agnes Rope around the time that she became a Carmelite nun by the name of Sister Margaret of the Mother of God.
