Williamson Art Gallery & Museum, Birkenhead
This purpose built Art Gallery was opened in December 1928 and houses the vast majority of Birkenhead's collection of artistic masterpieces. On permanent display are Victorian oil paintings, English watercolours, Liverpool Porcelain, Della Robbia Pottery and a range of collections from local history and ship models to fine decorative arts (part of the Merseyside Embroidery Trail).

The Williamson Art Gallery and Museum
A purpose-built gallery, opened in 1928. It is named after John and Patrick Williamson, father and son, who each bequeathed money to Birkenhead Borough Council.
