27 Clifton Road, Birkenhead
Clifton Park was one of the swankier developments spurred on by the creation of Birkenhead Park, laid out by Walter Scott from the early 1840s. Scott designed many of its villas. Grade II listed. No. 27 was remodelled c1845 for its present use as a masonic temple.

Ex-GWR Dean 0-6-0PT at Birkenhead Locomotive Depot
Built 4/1902 as a '2021' class saddle-tank, converted to pannier-tank in 3/36, No. 2106 was withdrawn in 6/56. Several hundred of these Panniers worked all over the GWR system, but the 20 or so like No. 2106 which shunted Docks lines were fitted with warning bells.
