Birkenhead Park railway station, Wirral
Opened in 1888 jointly by the Wirral Railway and the Mersey Railway, this was originally four platforms where Wirral Railway passengers from New Brighton or West Kirby had cross-platform interchange with Mersey Railway trains to Liverpool. These days, trains run direct and the second pair of platforms (to the left) have been removed. View east towards Conway Park and Liverpool.
