The building is dated to 1892, as designed into the brickwork. This side of the museum houses vintage cars & motorbikes, as well as a model railway & model shop.

The Mersey Tunnel ventilator towers are a magnificent set of structures - functional, visually stunning and emblematic of the different eras in which they were built. This one was built c1931. The architect was Herbert Rowse. Grade II listed.
