A very fine example of Walter Pott's work for the Office of Works. Built 1905-06. Grade II listed. It has been converted to offices but was possibly not occupied at the time.

Birkenhead Bus Station
This is a light and airy structure which is actually attractive to use. The High ceiling and glass walls give the feel of almost being outdoors, but being in a sheltered environment. There appears to be a good maintenance routine to keep it looking fresh.
