Mallard Ducks, Birkenhead Park
Male on the left, female on the right. In the background, across the lake, is the spot to feed them. If you wish to do so, they prefer chopped fruit & veg, and/or grain, as bread is quite unhealthy for them.

Muscovy Drake, Birkenhead Park
There are various ducks & geese at the Eastern lake, in Birkenhead Park. Canada Geese & Mallards, in the main. This is a different breed of duck, though, and much bigger than a Mallard. He seems to be quite capable of looking after himself. The strange skin, of his face, is perfectly normal for a Muscovy drake.
